The third example in this five note set of 1899 Banco Nacional Provisionals, overprinted on an American Bank Note Co. series Banco de Márquez, Barranquilla remainder note (P-S583). Soft red-orange face tint and orange back. Left end has demure, ethereally floating Plenty with expressive facial details. Portrait lower right. The overprint is sharp on the vibrant back. Punch hole cancelled and previously mounted are noted. Another outstanding example with broad, even margins. PMG Very Fine 30.
