Another larger format note. 2,000 issued notes were authorized in April 1873 and an additional 1,000 in April 1879. Impressive style with Zoe (engraved by Bald, Cousland & Co. in the late 1850s) at the left face. Brown frame and protectors. Brown back. The glue is thick under the back proof with heavy wrinkles, but it is not foxed. Bright and attractive overall. Extremely Fine.
