A gorgeous Peso note from this rare series and certainly meant to be a workhorse in circulation. Most were redeemed and issued notes are very rare. There were issued notes printed from three authorizations: 30,000 notes were authorized December 1880, 30,000 notes in April 1883, and 40,000 notes in October 1884. Light orange face and deeper orange back. A sharp looking pair. Uncirculated.
