The highest denomination from the series and larger size format than the Peso note. There were 5,000 authorized for printing in June 1884. No series. Pleasant blue face tint and deeper blue back. The female portrait pair on the face is rarely seen and very handsome. An equine vignette at the right end complements the other denomination nicely. Both proofs are choice and vibrant. Until the 1990 ABN sale, virtually no notes were known from the issuer Uncirculated.
From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Paper Money.
