The highest denomination from the issue and a handsomely designed proof. There were 2,400 notes authorized for printing in October 1885. Series G. Blue and brown multi-color tint. Deep blue back. Several appeared in the 1990 ABN sale making this an exciting find for collectors to enjoy. This record pair is unique though in this format. Both India paper impressions are choice. Uncirculated.
