COLOMBIA. República de Colombia. 5 Pesos Oro, March 22, 1938. P-341p. Archival Record Book Face and Back Proofs. Uncirculated.
This and its companion 10 Pesos proof were oddly placed in this record book and not the second. It is the latest series in the book and is included here only because of its context. This is from a later gold note series, but was not actually payable in gold due to the depression. There were 1,600,000 notes printed in November 1938. No series, to be written in. Subtle multi-color face tint and red back. Both are choice India paper proofs. Uncirculated.
