COLOMBIA. Banco Hipotecario del Pacífico. 5 Pesos. ND (1919). 2% Note. P-S523p. Archival Record Book Face and Back Proofs. Net Fine.
This proof is from a 2% interest bearing series created by the "Law 24 of 1905." This denomination was out of order in the record book; the 50 Centavos and 1 Peso should have been paged first. The notes were printed once in August 1919 with 60,000 examples authorized. No series. Orange tint. Common style with condor vignette at the central face. Orange obligation back. The face is vibrant, but there is heavy glue staining at the left end of the back. Net Fine.
From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Paper Money.
Estimate: $200.00- $400.00
