2 pieces in lot. The Banco de Márquez series printed by the American Bank Note Company is one of the most attractive for Colombia. The size of each gets progressively larger as the denomination increases. Most of these proofs originated in Lot 730 in the 1990 ABN sale, which was described as a "problem free group" and the PMG grades confirm that. Both are India paper on cards with "1882" penciled on verso, confirming the record book data. The face is Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ and the back is Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ. Mixed PMG Graded Notes.
