Another spectacular example of an elusive Young Head 8 Escudos of Carlos III. Frosty and highly lustrous light yellow gold with superb visual appeal. Only some minor scratches behind the portrait separate this piece from a higher Mint State grade. The strike is well centered and crisp on both sides. Unusually fine quality for this date or type.
