COLOMBIA. 1766-JV 8 Escudos. Santa Fe de Nuevo Reino (Bogotá) mint. Carlos III (1759-1788). Restrepo M71.8a. AU-58 (PCGS).
Frosty and boldly lustrous over nice medium yellow gold surfaces. Well centered and well struck with a strong portrait and excellent aesthetic appeal. A shallow abrasion is noted under ND of IND and a more subtle one runs vertically along the king's cheekbone. Very scarce, particularly in this condition.
