A frosty delight, with exceptional luster across rich medium yellow gold surfaces. Well struck from crude dies, showing significant die rust across the obverse and some raised artifacts on the reverse as well. An exciting specimen and a great rarity in this grade. A specimen in the 1954 King Farouk sale was deemed important enough to sell in a one-coin lot, cataloged as "unusually fine, rare." We wonder if this is the same piece.
