KM-20; CJ-26.3. 7 laurel pairs. Medal axis. Second finest graded at NGC with only one finer, none seen at PCGS. A worthy companion to the 6 laurel pairs specimen we are offering in this sale. Well struck with good definition of the detail with lovely old cabinet tone displaying blue, gold, purple and red hues when tilted in the light. An attractive example with good eye appeal. According to Janson this is the third rarest variety for the date. NGC AU-55.
