CUBA. Peso, 1939. NGC MS-66.
KM-22. Single finest graded of the date at either NGC or PCGS. Sharply struck defining the intricate details with smooth satiny surfaces displaying a lovely light multicolor mottled tone. Clearly this GEM sat for a prolonged period of time undisturbed. For the connoisseur of Cuban numismatics a piece not to be missed. We note that a 1936 peso which has a mintage nearly double that of the 1939 in the same grade sold for an astounding $12,000 hammer in Heritage's January 2016. NGC MS-66.
