Maz-2825. Without "ESSAI," from a reported mintage of only 131 examples. This pattern differs from the production type in having the pole held by Liberty surmounted by the hand of justice rather than a Phrygian cap. Perhaps justice was in short supply that year. A few minor handling marks and hairlines account for the grade. Sharply struck with light attractive tone. NGC MS-62.
