S-3800; Fr-376; KM-682. A RARE proof issue from this first year of issue for George IV sovereigns. A delight in hand, with only very light scattered handling marks. While there have been a few examples of this type on the market in the past few years, that should not give a false sense of prevalence for the issue; Wilson and Rasmussen give this piece an R3 rating, meaning that there are likely only a couple dozen examples known (though exact figures are unknown).
