27.50 gms. Eimer-1251; BHM-1475. By W. Wyon. Bare head of William IV right; Reverse: Diademed head of Adelaide right. The official Royal Mint issue of which 1203 examples were struck in gold of which 238 were subsequently melted leaving 965 distributed, many of which have since seen the melting pot. Contact marks and hairlines account for the grade. Sharply struck and lustrous. PCGS SP-58 Secure Holder.
