GREAT BRITAIN. Penny, 1860/59. NGC MS-63 BN.
S-3948; KM-739. SCARCE final date of the large size copper pennies. Even chocolate brown color. An easily identifiable rarity with blatant die clashing on the obverse just under the queen's chin and the nape of her neck. Well struck with definition of the fine details and overdate. Lovely smooth walnut patina with attractive chocolate highlights amongst the devices on the reverse. A popular issue with good eye appeal. NGC MS-63 BN.
From the Brighton Collection.
Estimate: $4000.00- $6000.00
