GUATEMALA. 8 Reales, 1846/2-NG MA. NGC MS-63.
KM-4. The single finest certified example at either NGC or PCGS. Only one other example is graded mint state at NGC(MS62). VERY RARE in this state of preservation. Exceptional strike detail, with each leaf on the Ceiba tree fully formed. Iridescent iris blue and amethyst flare up on the reverse, while the obverse is a more even silvery ochre, with flashes of iridescent hues. Truly a magnificent example with great eye appeal certain to catch the attention of the connoisseur of Central American or Guatemala. NGC MS-63.
