37.5 mm; 41.47 gms. Grove-unlisted. Mintage of only 500 pieces. Herringbone edge obscured by the PCGS holder. Bust left of controversial priest, Father De Mier, with inscription "FRAY SERVANDO TERESA DE MIER DEPUTADO CONSTITUYENTE" around; Reverse: Rampant lion presenting scroll left with legend around "ESTADO LIBRE Y SOBRANO DE NUEVO LEONE" and "1824 - 1974" in exergue. A couple of tone spots mentioned for accuracy. Sharply struck with hard mirror fields and frosted cameo devices. PCGS SP-67 Secure Holder.
