French Text. Printed by BABN. This scarce piece is the first of two scarce Banque du Canada Gems with Serial Number 9 that we are offering in this sale. This note shows with lathework throughout the design, and a soft blue hue. Queen Mary is pictured at left. Plated signatures of Osborne-Towers in the signature panels. The reverse shows an entirely blue design with Mercury pictured at center with trains and boats in the background representing 'Transportation.' This is one of only seven gems on the PMG population report for the type in issued form. A rare opportunity for seasoned collectors. PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ.
