A rare Barranquilla type. A larger denomination from the local printer Armenta & Prieto, Barranquilla. Blue tint and back. The Richard F. Ward Collection example, Lot 1110 in the Lyn Knight June 2017 sale realized an astounding $6,325 which was over double the high estimate. The SCWPM catalog value is $200 in "XF" which indicates a deviation of opinions, or inaccuracies in this section of the catalog. Previously mounted and tape (small patch at upper right face) are noted, but a bright example. We expect some strong competition for this attractive note which offers significant paper body and excellent color. PMG Very Fine 25 Net.
