BOLIVIA. Five Piece Cob Denomination Set, 1719-36.
All the pieces in this set are from Bolivia with the exception of the 1/2 Real which is from Mexico. Recovered from the wreck of the "The Princess Louisa." Stated on the plastic holder: "It is a complete set of silver cob coinage struck for trade in the Far East, from the Spanish Colonial Mints of Lima, Peru, Potosi, Bolivia, and Mexico City. The reign of date comes from Charles II and Philip V of Spain (1665-1746)". Housed in a custom plastic holder. All exhibit signs of salt water immersion in varying degrees from light to heavy. FINE to VERY FINE.
