Fr-436; Gad-253; KM-334.1. This "louis d'or aux 8 L et aux insignes" was struck 1701-04. The 1701-A struck on reformed blanks is listed as a common date in Gadoury but this specimen shows very little trace of the undertype with flashy fields and a bold portrait. NGC AU-58.
