59 mm F. u. P.-4962. By G. Pniower. Silesian shield flanked by Wild Man and Knight - both with similar banners. Number 19 stamped below shield; Reverse: Memorial plaza in Breslau - the central figure a huge equestrian statue of Wilhelm on a pedestal. Small exergual legend: "IV . IX MDCCCLXXXXVI / BRESLAU". A small percentage of these medals were numbered for an unknown purpose on the lower obverse. The highest number we have noted is 22 - this being 19. Deep mahogany bronze patina, with some scuffing noted in the left reverse field. NGC MEDAL MS-63 BN.
