KM-27; J-22. Although catalogued by the SCWC under Anhalt-Dessau, the other branches had all fallen extinct by 1904, leaving the new prince to be simply duke of Anhalt. From a proof mintage of 150 pieces. Beautifully toned with soft grey central surfaces and slate in the peripheries displaying a lovely mixture of blue, red and golden hues. Sharply struck with great eye appeal. NGC PROOF-64.
