Seated man shearing sheep right, bundle of wheat left, "Advance Canterbury" above, "New Zealand" below; Reverse: "Wholesale and Retail Builder and Furnishing Ironmonger Birmingham and Sheffield Warehouse Christchurch Canterbury N.Z." at center in eleven-lines, "Edward Reece" above. Sharply struck with lovely smooth surfaces displaying attractive mottled chocolate and mocha patina and hints of original mint red amongst the devices. Quite attractive and worthy of a premium bid. NGC MS-63 BN.
