RUSSIA. Excellent Artillerist Badge, ND (ca. 20th Century).
45.5 x 37.5 mm. Barac-unlisted; Vernon-unlisted; Werlich-unlisted. Brass and enamels. Shield with crossed cannon bordered with heavy oak garlands. Above the cannons, a red enameled medallion with hammer and sickle at center surrounded by a white border inscribed: "ОТЛИЦНЫИ АРТИЛЛЕРИСТ" (Excellent Artillerist). Screw post reverse with brass nut still present. EXTREMELY FINE.
