SWEDEN. 1/2 Daler Plate Money, 1748. Frederick I (1720-51).
106.20 x 97.44 mm; 377.13 gms. KM-PM65; AAH-300; BT-A29. VERY RARE (Tingstrom: 73 examples known including 22 pieces from the Nicobar). Stamps are well applied and clear with four bold full dates, though the denomination stamp is slightly weak. The obverse has been badly cleaned now starting to tone. Thick patina amongst the stamps and on their opposing sides. Overall a presentable example. VERY FINE.
