Good Fine - Very Fine. Scattered scratches, edge chip at 6h on rev. Well centred, light cabinet tone. Very Rare.

This rare type was struck to commemorate the Saecular Games celebrated by Domitian in AD 88, briefly breaking into the issues devoted to the German victories. It recalls the type struck by M. Sanquinius for Augustus which also featured the herald of the Ludi Saeculares and marked the reintroduction of the games by Augustus in 17 BC.
