PTOLEMAIC KINGS of EGYPT. Ptolemy I Soter. As satrap, 323-305 BC. AR Tetradrachm (27mm, 15.60 g, 12h). Alexandreia mint. Struck circa 311/0-305 BC. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, wearing elephant skin headdress; small Δ on aegis / Athena Alkidemos advancing right; monogram to inner left; to right, two monograms above eagle standing right on thunderbolt. Svoronos 146; Zervos Issue 22; SNG Copenhagen 18. Good VF, lightly toned, light graffiti ('EY') on reverse above Athena's shield.
