C. Fonteius. 114-113 BC. AR Denarius (19mm, 4.12 g, 1h). Rome mint. Laureate, janiform head of Fons (or Fontus); uncertain letter to left, mark of value to right / Galley left with three rowers, gubernator at stern. Crawford 290/1; Sydenham 555; Fonteia 1. Good VF, toned, obverse slightly off center. Well centered reverse.
