ANGLO-SAXON, Secondary Sceattas. Circa 710-760. AR Sceatt (10.5mm, 1.13 g). Type 30b/8 mule. Mint in the east Midlands(?). 'Wodan' head facing / 'Standard' with annulet scenter and right angles; three pellets on edge edge. Abramson 105.120; SCBI 63 (BM), –; SCBC 835. VF, toned, edge split, cut on reverse. Very rare.
