Argentina. Shield for the Battle of Curupaity, September 22, 1866. By Grabo do Rio Grande. Bronze, 40.5 x 31.5mm. A very scarce medal from one of the key battles of the Paraguayan War (War of the Triple Alliance). Some old adhesive residue on back, missing pin. Otherwise Good Very Fine.
