Two documents, one dated August 20, 1810, issued and signed by the Ministry Director of the War Administration concerning regulations of the general administration of the Army in Portugal; the second, with a fine "Armee de Portugal/Etat Major Gal." cachet in red, is headed "ArmÈe de Portugal/Etat Major GÈnÈral", signed by the Baron of Lamartiniere as Chief of the General Staff, dated in Valladolid (Spain) on March 4, 1813, and addressed to the Portuguese Captain Lima to enlist for the Portuguese Legion through the Minister of War. Rare documents concerning the Portuguese Campaign. Very good.
