IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian III right, seen from behind / SECVRIT PERPET S - C, Securitas standing facing, head left, legs crossed, holding scepter and and leaning on short column with elbow S - C in field. RIC 335a. Good VF, exceptionally detailed and sensitive portrait; toned metal highlights on devices, mottled green/red patina.
