EDOM (IDUMAEA). 4th century BC. AR Quarter Shekel – Drachm (10.5mm, 4.13 g, 5h). Imitating Athens. Helmeted head of Athena right / Owl standing right, head facing; [olive spray to left]. GTvA 1–11; cf. Hendin 1025; HGC 10, 616. As made, struck from highly worn dies, as usual. Very rare early issue with remnants of Athena's portrait visible.
