SEALS, Roman. Seal (Lead, 24 mm, 9.19 g), circa 3rd century AD. Male figure advancing right, holding an uncertain object with both hands and looking back; at his feet to right, small nimbate figure (?) below lighted altar; to lower right, star; to left, figure standing left, holding long palm over central figure. An attractive, heavy seal with an interesting scene. Punch on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
