MACEDON. Neapolis. Circa 424-350 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 12 mm, 1.69 g, 1 h). Facing gorgoneion with protruding tongue. Rev. [N]EOΠ Head of the nymph of Neapolis to right, her hair coiled around her head and with a bun at the back. AMNG III, 9-10. SNG ANS 455-459. The reverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, very fine.
