CELTIC, Central Europe. Vindelici. 1st century BC. 1/4 Stater (Gold, 12 mm, 1.84 g, 11 h), 'Regenbogenschüsselchen', 'Vogelkopf' type. Head of a bird to right. Rev. Two pellets within torc. Coll. Karl -. Kellner -, cf. type III A, 1667-1678 (staters). Extremely rare with the head to right. Edge split and with the reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
