CARIA. Kaunos. Circa 430-410 BC. Stater (Silver, 21 mm, 11.80 g, 6 h). Winged female figure in kneeling-running stance left, head to right, holding kerykeion in her right hand and wreath in her left. Rev. Baitylos with 'handles' at apex; granulated patterns on either side; all within rectangular incuse. Konuk 93 (same dies). SNG Keckman 823. A sharply struck example of splendid classical style. The obverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, extremely fine.
