PTOLEMAIC KINGS OF EGYPT. Ptolemy VI Philometor, first reign, 180-164 BC. Obol (Bronze, 23 mm, 10.26 g, 11 h), uncertain mint on Cyprus, circa 180-170. Diademed head of Zeus Ammon to right, with ram's horn in his hair and over the diadem. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΠTOΛEMAIOY / EYΛ Eagle standing left on thunderbolt, wings spread; to left, Φ. SNG Copenhagen 294. Svoronos 1398 (Ptolemy VI with Eulaios). Somewhat rough, otherwise, very fine.
