[AY] K ΟΠΕΛ CEY MAKPEINOC K M OΠΕΛ ANT[ΩNEINOC] Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Macrinus, on the left, facing draped and cuirassed bust of Diadumenian, on the right. Rev. YΠ ΠONTIANOY MAPKIAN/OΠΟΛIT[ΩN] / E Female figure (mountain nymph, or Gaia?) reclining to left, holding branch in her right hand and leaning left on rocks; to lower right, bear walking right (?). AMNG I 756. Rare and interesting. An attractive example with a charming green patina. Very fine.
