Appius Claudius Pulcher, T. Manlius Mancius and Q. Urbinius, 111-110 BC. Denarius (Subaeratus, 18 mm, 2.75 g, 11 h), Rome. Head of Roma to right, wearing winged helmet. Rev. T•M•AP•CL•Q•VR Victory driving triga to right. Cf. Babelon (Manlia) 2, Crawford 299/1b, RBW 1142 and Sydenham 570a (for prototype). A very well made plated forgery. Minor breaks in plating, otherwise, very fine.
