L•PLAET•CEST Laureate, draped and veiled bust of Ceres to right, surmounted by modius. Rev. BRVTVS•IMP Sacrificial axe and simpulum. Cf. Babelon (Junia) 51 and (Plaetoria) 12, Crawford 508/2 and Sydenham 1300 (for prototype). A very well made contemporary plated imitation. Minor breaks in plating, otherwise, good very fine.
