THESSALY, Pelinna. Circa 425-350 BC. AR Obol (13mm, 0.90 g, 3h). Thessalian warrior, holding two spears, on horse rearing left / Warrior in fighting attitude left, holding shield and spear, and preparing to hurl another spear; Π-ΕΛ-ΛΙ[...] (sic) around; all within incuse square. BCD Thessaly II 516 corr. (ethnic; same dies); HGC 4, 270. VF, toned, granular surfaces, irregular flan, small mark on obverse. Very rare.
