Antoninus Pius. As Caesar, AD 138. Æ As (27mm, 11.82 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck February-July AD 138. Bareheaded and draped bust right / Clasped hands holding caduceus and grain ears. RIC II 1088a (Hadrian) var. (bust type); BMCRE 1948 (Hadrian) var. (same). VF, dark brown surfaces, some light cleaning scratches. Rare issue for Pius as Caesar.
