SAMANID: Yahya Ibn Asad (819-861), AE Fals (1.71g), Al-Shash, AH 233. Obverse margin "duriba hatha al-fils bil-shash mimma amara bihi tahir ibn 'abd Allah sana thalath wa thalatheen wa ma'atay" (this fals was minted at Al-Shash, from what was ordered by Tahir Ibn 'Abd Allah, year three and thirty and two hundred), reverse citing Yahya in lower field. A-A1441. Choice very fine or better. Very rare.

Only two examples seem to have appeared in auction in the last several years, most recent one was in Stephen Album's auction 14 (lot 548), in lower and less attractive condition, which sold for $140.
