Octavian, 38 BC. Dupondius (Bronze, 29 mm, 17.00 g, 5 h), uncertain Italian mint. DIVI.F Bare head of Octavian to right; to right, eight-pointed star. Rev. DIVOS / IVLIVS within laurel wreath. Crawford 535/2. CRI 309. RPC 621. Sydenham 1336. An attractive piece with a reddish-brown patina. Hole (metal fault) on the reverse surface, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
