THRACE. Byzantium. Rhoemetalces I, c. 11 BC-AD 12. Drachm (Silver, 18 mm, 3.68 g, 12 h), with Augustus, c 10 BC. Monogram of ΒΑ ΡΟΙΜΗΤΑΛ Diademed head of Rhoemetalces to right. Rev. ΒΥΖΑΝΤΙΑ and monogram of ΚΑΙΣΑΡ Bare head of Augustus to right. RPC 1775. Extremely rare. Toned. Some pitting, otherwise, about very fine.
