Hadrian, 117-138. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 3.27 g, 6 h), Rome, 124-128. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS Laureate bust of Hadrian to right, with slight drapery. Rev. COS III Spes advancing left, holding flower and raising hem of dress. BMC 417. Cohen 390. RIC 181. A sharp, well struck and beautifully toned example. Extremely fine.
